The Base Transceiver determines the ambient
visibility and then transmits instructions to a CMS to display the
proper warning message. The devise will automatically display different
messages to properly reflect the road conditions, the text and amount of
information is user defined. For example, message 1 may be 'Clear Road',
2 - 'Slight Fog at Bridge', 3 - 'Thick Fog at Bridge', 4 - Dense Fog at
Bridge', 5 - 'Extremely Dense Fog at Bridge'

system. These devices may be mounted directly on top of the enclosure
and the system will transmit a user selected massage when
activated.
900MHz, Spread Spectrum modem.
Two, 18A, on board control relays can be used to control warning strobes
or gate arms.
Three additional inputs to monitor external signals.
