      The Relay Box + is a very flexible relay controller for 12 volt applications. It contains 8 heavy duty relays and a Networked Control Computer Platform (NCCP) based controller. The controller is configurable for relay groupings and timing sequences as well as being adaptable to various interface protocols. Relay Box + units can be daisy-chained. A built-in menu system allows control for manual testing from an RS232 attached Palm, Pocket or portable computer with a terminal emulator (HyperTerm). The menu controls configuration and activation of built-in tests for the unit. Configuration files can also be "played" into the RS232 port from an E-mail or HTML file to allow for re-configuration at remote sites.
       Headlights, signal lights, salt and sand spreaders, plow position; just about any function that is switch controlled can be operated by voice actuation, freeing the driver's hands for driving.
       The 4-1/2" x 3-1/2", cast aluminum enclosure mounts easily to any flat surface. All electrical contacts are gold plated. An amber LED provides visual feedback.
